Getting to know your Breeder

Hello everyone! I'd like to share a little about my background and why I am so dedicated to ethical breeding.

My lifelong passion for animals is deeply rooted in my history of diverse pet ownership, including dogs, cats, birds, hamsters, rats, and fish. While I was raised around dog breeding, my interests quickly expanded to smaller companions.

My experience is broad and hands-on, built over many years in various roles:

• Breeding and Socialization: I have successfully bred smaller animals like teddy bear hamsters, rats, mice, guinea pigs, and various feeder insects. I also have extensive experience whelping several litters through shelter work and personal family connections.
• Professional Work: I have worked as a Kennel Technician and Veterinary Technician in clinics and two high functioning animal shelters.
• Fostering and Training: I have successfully fostered numerous kittens, from critical bottle babies up to eight weeks, and have extensive experience in training and socializing dogs and cats. I even served as a Playgroup Instructor, overseeing groups of up to 40 dogs at a time!

My love for animals goes beyond the ordinary—my very first constant companion was a rat who traveled everywhere with me on my shoulder! Their intelligence and cleanliness continue to amaze me.

My professional background instills a profound commitment to sanitation and preventing cross-contamination, which I take very seriously in all aspects of animal care. I am familiar with a wide array of animal diseases and am happy to share my knowledge to help answer your questions (though please remember, I am not a veterinarian and cannot provide official medical advice).

Ultimately, my goal is simple: to help you experience the same joy and deep bond I feel with my own animals.
